About

I've been running logistics under pressure since long before it had a business title.

Teacher, then event manager, then OBM and tech VA, and somewhere in themiddle of all three, mother of five. Different tools every time, but honestly the same job.

Where this started

I trained as a teacher first. Stand in front of a classroom for long enough, and you learn pretty quickly that the real job was never the lesson plan, it’s the fifty things happening at once that aren’t on it, and keeping the room moving anyway.

Event management came next, and it took me about a week to realise it was the same job in a different outfit. Nobody at a wedding cares how good the plan looked on paper. They care whether you caught the thing about to go wrong before it went wrong, and whether anyone in the room noticed there was ever a problem at all.

So by the time online businesses came into it, I wasn’t starting from nothing. I already knew how to hold a hundred moving parts without dropping one, I just started doing it for launches and Kajabi accounts instead of classrooms and venues.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I had five kids. Not to mention that for the “look how busy she is” points, it’s genuinely relevant, running a household that size is its own logistics operation, and there’s no better training ground for keeping track of what everyone else can’t hold in their head at the same time.

What Working With Me Actually Looks Like

If something’s not going to work, I’ll tell you before you spend the money finding that out yourself. That includes telling a client they’re better off starting smaller than what they originally asked for.

Anything a VA or contractor produces that’s going in front of your customers goes through me first, not just for spelling, but for whether it actually sounds like your business.

And if you ask me something I don’t know the answer to, you won’t hear “I don’t know.” You’ll hear “I’ll find out,” because that’s what actually happens, I go and find it, and I come back with an answer instead of a guess. More than one client has mentioned that unprompted, which tells me it’s rarer out there than it should be.

The Work Itself

Spent a few years contracted as the OBM for a US-based marketing agency, running day-to-day operations for a team based in the Philippines. I worked US hours to match them, which meant my working day rarely lined up with my own time zone. Every team member’s tasks and deadlines came through me, I checked their work before it reached a client, and when someone was on leave, or the team had a gap, I did the work myself rather than leaving the client to notice it was missing. The CEO and the clients dealt with me directly.

Right now, I’m the OBM for an Australian business that teaches a specific card game, remote and day-to-day, with live, face-to-face events layered on top of the usual digital
operations, which is where the event management background still earns its keep. I keep the SOPs current, make sure the run-up to those live events is actually ready rather than assumed to be, and check the work of the team’s VA before it reaches customers.

Alongside that, I build and fix websites and course platforms, mostly in Kajabi and GoHighLevel, and I’ve picked up the white-label versions of GHL, Ivorey, FEA Create, and a few others, along the way, because clients kept showing up on those platforms and needed the same expertise.

Who I Work Best With

Mostly three kinds of people. Coaches, business, life, or spiritual, who need their website and their systems to actually look like who they’ve become and not who they were when they started. Course creators and business services owners who’ve got the offer built already and need the thing underneath it to hold up under actual traffic. Health and wellness practitioners who got into this work to help people, not to spend Tuesday nights
fighting with their booking software.

If that’s you and something’s slipping through the cracks right now, that’s usually where I come in.
