What’s the difference between hiring a Tech VA and an OBM?

How do payments work for your services?

Payments for my services are typically made upfront or as outlined in our agreed-upon payment schedule. I accept payments through secure online platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, or direct bank transfer. Once we confirm the scope of the work, I will send you an invoice with the necessary payment details.

Do you offer payment plans for your services?

Yes, I do offer flexible payment plans for certain services, depending on the project size and duration. If you require a payment plan, we can discuss options that best fit your needs. Any agreed-upon payment terms will be clearly outlined in our contract before we begin working together.

What is your refund policy?

As my services are customised to each client, I typically do not offer refunds once work has commenced. However, if for any reason you’re unsatisfied with the service, I encourage open communication to resolve any issues. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for unused portions of ongoing retainer services.

How is my payment information protected?

Your privacy and security are a top priority. I use secure payment gateways such as PayPal and Stripe, which are encrypted and PCI-compliant, ensuring that your payment details are handled safely. I do not store your payment information on my systems.

When are payments due?

Payments are generally due upon receipt of the invoice, unless otherwise specified in our agreement. For ongoing or retainer services, invoices are typically sent out on a monthly basis, and payment is due within 5 days of receipt. Late payments may incur a fee as outlined in the terms and conditions of our contract.

What happens if a payment is late?

If a payment is late, I will send you a reminder with the outstanding balance. If payment is not received within 5 days of the due date, I reserve the right to pause services until the account is settled. For ongoing retainer clients, this could affect the project timeline and delivery.
